Frédéric Jubinville est un francophone fier, qui a toujours eu une passion pour l’art. Depuis sa jeunesse, le dessin, les bandes animées et les jeux de société l’ont toujours attiré. Les jeux vidéo piquent son intérêt lorsqu’il reçoit sa première console de Nintendo à Noël en 1989. Les technologies ainsi que ces intérêts ont évolué de manière exponentielle, et c’était l’introduction d’une courte bande animée en 3D intitulée Imaginaria, qui a pu alimenter sa vraie passion vers la troisième dimension. En 2001, il a suivi des cours en génie civil afin d’apprendre la production en 3D. Ce dernier n’était pas tout à fait le trajet qu’il cherchait, et c’était seulement lorsqu’il a découvert le programme de Communication multimédia qu’il s’est dirigé vers son domaine d’intérêt. Après deux années d’études et un diplôme en main, il s’est lancé en graphisme de documentaires aux Productions Rivard. Quatre ans plus tard, il a décidé de compléter le diplôme avancé d’un an de 3D Computer Graphics à Red River College. Ces dernières expériences lui ont donné les compétences nécessaires pour décrocher un poste de technicien en graphisme à l’Université de Saint-Boniface. Son entregent et son désir d’affiner ses connaissances en 3D l’ont mené finalement à un poste en enseignement de cours en 3D. Il peut maintenant créer et passer ses connaissances à une nouvelle génération!

Frédéric Jubinville is a proud francophone, who has always had a passion for art. In his youth, he’s always been very active in drawing, cartoons and board games. His interests peaked during Christmas of 1989, when he got his first Nintendo console. Technology as well as his interests evolved exponentially, and it was when he was introduced to a 3D animated short called Imaginaria, that his passion was fuelled towards creation in the third dimension. In 2001, he followed courses in civil engineering in hopes of creating in 3D. This wasn’t quite the path he had imagined, and it was only when he discovered the Communication multimedia program that he reached for the field of his dreams. After acquiring a two-year diploma, he worked four years as a graphic artist at a French documentary company: les Productions Rivard. He then took a year off to follow an advanced 3D Computer Graphics diploma at Red River College. It was these previous experiences that gave him the skills to work as a graphic technician at the Université de Saint-Boniface. His charismatic persona and his passion for 3D had finally led to an instructor position of French 3D courses. He now creates and offers his knowledge to a new generation!
